Biography

Derik joined DairyAmerica in July 2014 as the Director of Supply Chain.   Derik is responsible for all of the Operational aspects surrounding DairyAmerica, including the overall coordination and execution of the delivery process.  His areas of responsibility range from Customer Service, Freight and Logistics to the IT systems necessary to effectively operate a world class operation.

Prior to joining DairyAmerica, Derik held several offices within Olam, as the Director of Demand Planning, Director of Financial Planning and Analysis, and the Operational Systems Manager within the Spices and Vegetable Ingredients division.

As the Operational systems manager and IT consultant to a central valley tomato processor SK Foods, Derik was pivotal in the implementation and management of the computers systems used to manage the manufacturing process while maintaining and managing the seasonal pack plan.

Before embarking on a career in ag, he managed operations for Pana Pacific (an electronic components supplier for heavy duty trucking manufacturers), and was a Marketing Director for Paladin, working with several top high tech companies in and around Silicon Valley and the Bay Area.

Derik studied at Point Loma University in San Diego California where he received a Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration.
