Ashley Rosales is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with over 15 years of experience in supporting nutrition across the lifespan for optimal health and wellness. Ashley is the Nutrition Science Officer for Dairy Council of California where she oversees strategies to ensure equitable access to nutritious foods and create opportunities for nutrition education and dairy agriculture literacy. Ashley specializes in translational research to advance the unique and essential contributions of milk and dairy foods in healthy, sustainable eating patterns. Her expertise includes scientific and regulatory affairs, strategic planning, thought leadership and communications, as well as developing multisector partnerships and collaboration to create collective impact. Ashley co-led development of the Well-Nourished, Brighter Futures convening and the Let’s Eat Healthy initiative, elevating the health of children and families through lifelong healthy eating patterns. She currently holds a leadership position on the board of the California Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and serves a member of the International Dairy Federations Standing Committee on Nutrition and Health and the CA Society of Association Executives. Ashley received her Bachelor of Sciences degree in Clinical Nutrition from UC Davis, completed the dietetic internship program at Napa State Hospital and holds a certificate in Research from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She lives in Sacramento, CA with her husband and two children.
